Estero Beach highlights

The 1.5-mile Estero Beach Resort short course track hosted Rounds 3 and 4 of the nine race Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, Presented by Gieco, May 18-19. The two days of racing was titled the Rockstar Energy Battle South of the Border. As usual the grandstands were packed and the racers again provided them with plenty of racing action. After the dust settled on the weekend Brock Heger was the big winner by taking repeat wins in the Production 1000 UTV races then taking repeat wins in the Pro Lite events as well.

 

In the Turbo UTV action Corry Weller took the top spot on Saturday with Ronnie Anderson second and Chance Haugen third. The following day Weller was towed off after three laps and Trevor Leighton took the top podium spot. Andy Ives was second and Trey D Gibbs was third.

 

Sunday’s Pro 4 podium. Doug Mittag on top Kyle LeDuc second and RJ Anderson third

In the Pro 4 action RJ Anderson took the checkers on Saturday with Doug Mittag second and Adrian Cenni third. Sunday’s event winner was Doug Mittag with Kyle LeDuc taking second and RJ Anderson third.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Brock Heger (1) took repeat wins with Robert Stout (915) repeat second placing in the Production 1000 UTV class

In the Production 1000 UTV races Brock Heger and Robert Stout finished one-two both days. Myles Cheek was third on Saturday and Cole Keatts was third on Sunday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Eliott Watson won teh Pro Buggy Saturday and placed second to Bud Ward on Sunday.

Eliott Watson took control of the Pro Buggy event on Saturday with Bud Ward crossing over second and Trey D Gibbs third. The front two swapped places on Sunday as Bud Ward took the win over Eliott Watson. Trevor Briska was third.

 

 

 

 

Brock Heger took home two wins in the Pro Lite class.

Brock Heger had a good showing in Baja by taking wins both days in the Pro Lite class. Christopher Polvoorde was second on Saturday with Ryan Beat third. Mickey Thomas finished second to Heger on Sunday with Ronnie Anderson third.

 

 

 

 

On Sunday this is what the Pro 2 competition saw of Rob MacCachren

 

Jerett Brooks took the Pro 2 win Saturday in the race with 12 contestants. Rob MacCachren was second and Brian Deegan took third. On Sunday Rob MacCachren took the win over Rodrigo Ampudia and Jerett Brooks finished third.
