The new Glen Helen Short Course race series opened its season January 10-11 at Glen Helen Raceway. The eight-race series continues June 13-14 with Rounds 3 & 4 and will race again September 12-13 with the final held December 12-13. The series has added new classes, purse money, and trophies for 2026. The new classes feature Pro Lite, Pro Buggies, Super Buggies, Mini Stock, 1450, and Class 11, with all of them having a pro purse providing some extra exciting racing. The series also includes the grassroots classes for Youth UTV, Trophy Karts, and Quads.
Race Director Bill Markle heads the newly formed safety Crew. Those racing will need to go through Tech starting at 7 am on race day, with Timed Practice at 8:30 am after the riders’ meeting at 8:00 am. Racing starts at 10:00 am.
Sign up early online at https://www.glenhelen.com/short-course-series and save on post fees. Pro class fees are $200 per day ($75 per entry into Pro Purse), with Post entry $250 Per day. UTV and Quad entry is $75 Per day with post entry $100 Per day, and Youth Classes are $50 Per Day with $75 post Per day. Practice fees are $30 Per Vehicle, and Quad with Premier classes set at $50.
