LOORRS at Wheatland

Rounds 3,4 & 5 of the 2020 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, presented by GEICO,  was held at the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO. Another tripleheader is set for September 18,19 & 20 in Chandler, AZ. Again the Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park will be a race with no fans due to COVID 19. Following is highlights of the Wheatland event and current points standings.

RZR170 saw TJ Siewers take round 3 & 4 at Wheatland then finished third in Round 5 as George Llamosas took the final event win with Ryder VanBeekum second. For the season point battle TJ Siewers leads George Llamosas with Ian Tori third.

 

There were three separate winners in the JR 2 Kart events.  Brodie Martin won Round 3 then Lake Adler took Round 4 win and Round 5 was won by Logan Leggitt. As they go into Round 6 Rhyan Denney is leading the series with Logan Leggitt second and Brodie Martin third.

 

There were 15 vying for the Mod Kart win at Wheatland so no surprise there were three different winners. Round 3 was won by Trey Eggleston while Connor Barry took home Round 4 win and Braden Chiaramonte won Round 5. Braden Chairamonte has a seven point edge over Trey Eggleston in season standings. Connor Barry is third.

 

Brock Heger enjoyed his Midwest event as he took the checkers in both the Rounds 3 & 5. Cole Mamer won Round 4. Heger’s currently leading the Pro Lite class with Christopher Polvoorde second and Madix Bailey third.

 

Kyle Chaney took home two win in the Turbo UTV races winning Round 3 & 5. Corry Weller crossed under the checkers first in round 4.

 

Eliott Watson dominated all three Pro Buggy events at Wheatland. Watson’s dominance has him leading Trey Gibbs by 23 points as they go into Round 6. Matthew Brister is third.

 

Production 1000 UTV saw Myles Cheek atke home wins in Rounds 3 & 5. Brock Heger would win Round 4. myles Cheek currently holds a 13 point lead over Brock Heger for the series. Robby Hornsby is third.

 

Pro 2 racing is always competitive which was demonstrated by three different winners at the event. RJ Anderson flew past the checkers in Round 3 with Jerett Brooks winning Round 4. Doug Mittag took home Round 5.
