Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series invites each tire manufacturer to participate in a tire test January 24 2017 at Glen Helen Raceway using only DOT tires intended for Pro 2 and Pro 4 classes. The test is an attempt to validate the ideas brought up by teams as a cost saving measure for all teams and tire vendors alike.. The LOORRS 2017 tire rule will remain the same. This test is to gather feedback from teams and tire manufacturers for a possible 2018 rule update. LOORRS is looking at ways to help with cost reductions for teams and manufacturers.
