Round 18 of the SPEED Energy Stadium SUPER Trucks was held in Beijing, China and Matt Brabham took the win over Robby Gordon. Jeff Hoffman earned the third spot. Davey Hamilton Jr looked to have won the race but failed to take the Joker lane and was placed last by the officials. To add to Hamilton’s troubles Bill Hynes was given 3 bonus points for leading most laps, since Hamilton was disqualified the award goes to the next highest lap leader.
Paul Morris won the qualifying showdown and earned 5 points for his effort. Matt Brabham is the current points leader with 440 points with Morris second with 430 points. Robby Gordon has 402 points on the year.
The SST series returns to China Oct 6 & 7 2017.
