The Nitro Rallycross finale was a three-day happening held at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, CA March 17-19. The three-day event had a mix of weather with the final championship race run during light showers.
On Sunday, Robin Larsson won the final Group E round with the win points giving him a total of 403 over Andreas Bakkerud’s 371 for the season. Group E is Nitro Rallcross’ top class and this year Larsson was awarded the Ken Block Championship trophy, in honor of the motorsports legend. Fraser McConnell held on during the final race to finish second with Andreas Bakkerud crossing over third. Fraser McConnell finished third on the season with 348 points.
The 2023 ASHOC Energy Champion and winner of the final event was Tommi Hollman. Casper Jansson finished second and Simon Olofsson crossed over third.
SXS Final
Gregotre Michaud checked out early in the season final SXS event and held the lead to the checkers leaving the battle for second. Scottie Lawrence kept Sara Price at bay for the second spot leaving her to settle for the final podium position.
