Record $269,500 Purse Announced For Polaris Crandon World Championship Weekend

— Massive Event Payouts To Benefit Pro and Sportsman Racers —

CRANDON, Wisconsin (August 25, 2025): Living up to a long-held nickname as “The Big House,” Crandon International Raceway today announced the largest weekend and single-day purse in short-course off-road history for this week’s 56th annual Polaris Crandon World Championships and 10th Red Bull Crandon World Cup.

With the support of Polaris, Red Bull, Lucas Oil, Forest County Potawatomi, Fox Shox, Method Wheel, Mole Lake Casino and a host of other track supporters, the total cash and prize package to be awarded over four days of racing stands at an event record $269,500. Crandon’s record purse is in addition to the prize packages offered to Pro and Sportsman racers by the Amsoil Champ Off-Road and Ultra4 USA series themselves.

From Friday’s first Sportsman races to Sunday afternoon’s Red Bull Cup finale, Crandon International will award total cash prizes equalling $219,500, with another $50,000 in the form of two brand new Polaris RZR Pro XPs valued at $25,000 each. In a long standing World Championship tradition, Crandon will also crown World Championship titles and custom rings for all race category winners on Saturday (Champ Sportsman and Ultra4 USA categories) and Sunday (all Pro category, Class 11, Ultra4/4440 and Red Bull Cup).

Supplementing next weekend’s Polaris Crandon World Championship purse are new racer support programs benefiting Sportsman and Pro category racers alike. Champ Off-Road series racers will compete for a total cash purse of $15,000 courtesy of Mole Lake Casino, Hotel, and Events Center. This bonus will be distributed for Thursday’s Youth Cup races and the remaining Sportsman competitions heldon  Friday and Saturday.

On Red Bull Crandon World Cup Sunday, all nine Pro category World Championship races will feature a $1,500 cash prize for the driver making the hole shot out of Forest County Potawatomi Turn 1 courtesy of Method Race Wheel. The Method Hole Shot Awards are part of the company’s 15th anniversary celebration in 2025.

Longtime Crandon partner Fox Shox will help celebrate the Red Bull Crandon World Cup Sunday with a payout totaling $35,000 in cash for select Pro classes and the Red Bull Cup weekend Pro 2 versus Pro 4 finale. Fox will award a $5,000 bonus to Fox Shox drivers in Pro Buggy, Pro Spec, Pro Lite, Pro 2, and Pro 4 Crandon World Champions, with an additional $10,000 award to the Red Bull Cup race winner. Crandon World Champions not equipped with Fox will receive a 50% payout.

The world’s largest short-course off-road event in the world is the result of a collaborative effort among three race series, an impressive list of corporate partners, and over 400 competitors from across the United States.
