Red Bull GRC Makes Canadian Debut

Watch the action: Saturday, 10PM ET, NBCSN // Sunday, 4PM ET, NBC

Ottawa will play host to the first Canadian event in Red Bull Global Rallycross history this weekend, June 16-17, as the runways of the Canada Aviation and Space Museum airways host a different kind of flight for the first time. 600 horsepower Supercars and their GRC Lites counterparts will experience their own takeoffs and landings in a weekend doubleheader that marks the halfway point of the series’ 2017 season.

Ontario native Steve Arpin enters the weekend with all the momentum: not only is he the hometown hero of the event, he’s also the series’ most recent race winner in New England. Four different drivers have won the first four races of the season, but Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross teammates Scott Speed and Tanner Foust remain at the top of the championship standings. In GRC Lites, French driver Cyril Raymond leads the points race over Christian Brooks and Conner Martell after a sweep of both races in Connecticut earlier this month.

Don’t miss the live action from Red Bull GRC Ottawa, this Sunday at 4PM ET on NBC and Saturday at 10PM ET on NBCSN! Be sure to tune in or stream the action.
