This year’s only night racing events for the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing series, Presented by GIECO, in 2017 were held at Glen Helen Raceway, San Bernardino, CA. Friday night racing provided unseasonable cool weather feeding the combustion engines with plenty of fresh air to create the kind of horsepower that provided fans with some exciting racing action. The cool weather held on Saturday for Round 12 of the series and fans packed the grandstands and were treated with plenty of racing action throughout the evenings eight racing classes.
The series final 2017 event is set for Oct 21-22 at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Chandler, AZ. The Oct 21 event will be the final 2017 points event and Sunday’s event will be the annual Challenge Cup Races.
