MidAmerica Outdoors gets new promoter

MidAmerica Outdoors Announces Heartland Racing Association as New Short Course Promoter

MidAmerica Outdoors announces a formal transition in short course racing plans at the park for 2024. With the focus on building MidAmerica Outdoors into a premiere off-road and outdoors venue for 2024, the park will no longer operate its own racing series, MAO Racing SXS Championship Series. However, the park will continue to host short course races and other off-road racing series as a part of their previously announced event schedule for the year.

MAO will be partnering with Heartland Racing Association as the short course promoter for 2024. Heartland Racing Association (HRA), owned and operated by JT Taylor and Marvin & Danielle Vail, will race each of the 5 short course rounds already announced, and utilize the existing rulebook & class list previously run by MAO Racing.

Heartland Racing Association will release more details over the coming weeks via website and social media channels. The series will run the already planned 5 rounds at MidAmerica Outdoors (listed below), with the October 4th-6th event acting as the 2024 series finals. HRA as a standalone organization will be responsible for race registration, operations, and payouts, while MAO will act as host site for the series. HRA will also operate the endurance race scheduled for the Halloween Havoc event at MAO in late October.
