After a long summer break the GBC UTV/Quad/Trophy Kart and all NEW MOTORCYCLES Short Course Series returned to Glen Helen Raceway Sept 9. The event drew 83 contestants racing in 21 different classes. Lori Wilson handed over the reigns to her new Race / Tech Director Bill Markel performing all the tech inspections and race directions for the event. Also new at this event was “Dash for Cash” having Top Qualifier in certain races go heads up for 1 lap. Another new feature was the addition of Motorcycle classes, both Modern Bike and a Mini Class. To keep things interesting an all New Course layout was designed with practice open to all registered entries on Friday before the event 2pm-5pm.

JR 1 TROPHY KARTS
EMMY HAYES was the lone racer in class for the overall.
JR 2 TROPHY KART
BRODY GLAZE took the overall with JAYDEN MANCHESTER second and CARSEN BRIDGEWATER third.
MOTORCYCLE EXP
DAVID CINCOTTA won both motos with JAKE YOUNG crossing over second and MAX CLAUNCH was third.
QUAD 250
ZAINE FLAGG ended up overall with his 2-1 results. ETHAN WITHERELL went 3-2 for second and moto one winner CONNOR HASTINGS DNF moto two.
QUAD 30+ ALL
PETE GARCIA took home repeat wins with VALLEN HARRIS second both motos and NICK LALANNE took third overall with his 3-4 effort.
QUAD 50cc
ETHAN LALANNE was the lone entry.
QUAD 90cc
JASPER HILL was the lone entry in class.
QUAD BEG
CARLY VESTAL was the repeat class winner with JOHN FLAGG taking a pair of seconds and JOEL MANZO was third after finishing 3-3 on the day.
QUAD EXP
DEVIN VESTAL traded wins with CODY ROBERTS but by taking the second moto put him on top of the box.
QUAD INT
ADAM TORRES took repeat wins in class with ALAN WITHERELL repeating in second over ZACHARY YARBROUGH going 3-3 for the day.
QUAD NOVICE
KERTIS ALLEN was the lone entry.
UTV 170-250cc 8-14 YRS
NIXON NAGEL saw the checkers first in both motos with DESIREE DE LA CRUZ second and DAMIAN GARCIA going 4-3 for the final podium spot.
UTV 170cc 6-12 YRS NOV
NIXON NAGEL took repeat wins in class with BARON DANIEL second on the podium with his 3-2 results. Third was DESIREE DE LA CRUZ posting 2-3 results.
UTV 170cc 9-12 YRS BEG
GRACE SHELTON won both motos with JAXON COTTER second having finished second in moto one then DNF moto two.
UTV PROD NA 1000
CHASE CARR won both motos in his class with 11 entries. Second was CHASE MANKIN with second in both motos. SYD WOODS was 4th in both motos but his earned third overall.
UTV PROD TURBO 1000
ANDE TOMEI was the loan turbo entry.
UTV SPORTSMAN OPEN
LANCE SUTTON crossed over first in both motos that saw RYDER BARNABY cross over behind him for second. Third was NOLAN BISHOP who scored 3-4 for the day.
UTV STOCK
RYDER BARNABY was able to take the overall with his 2-1 results after moto one winner JACOB WILLIAMSON DNF MOTO TWO. JAYDEN MANCHESTER earned second overall with 4-2 results and third was JOSHUA GUILLEN putting in 3-4 results.
UTV YOUTH 170 6-8 BEG
DYLAN LLAMOSAS took home repeat wins for the overall while DANIEL DOMINGUEZ earned second with his 2-2 finishes. CAILEE SCHERER placed 3-3 for third overall.

BARON DANIEL placed second in moto onw but came back to win for the overall. AIDEN COOTS had won moto one but crossed over second dropping him to second overall. GRACE SHELTON was consist with 3-3 results for the final podium spot.
